Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, with far-reaching impacts on ecosystems, economies, and communities across the African continent. While the effects of climate change are increasingly visible—ranging from droughts and floods to rising sea levels and food insecurity—many individuals and communities remain unaware of the urgency and scale of the crisis or how they can contribute to meaningful action.

YHA Dialogues on the Road to COP

A series of webinars and workshops to build capacity and foster coordinated climate advocacy.

As part of our ongoing commitment to climate advocacy, we organize the Yanayi Haki Afriqya Dialogues on the Road to COP, a series of webinars and workshops that build capacity and foster coordinated climate advocacy. These dialogues provide African youth with knowledge and tools to engage effectively in the COP negotiations, amplifying regional perspectives on global climate policies.

Capacity Building and Skills Sharing for Climate Activists Program (CBSSCAP)

A six-month program aimed at equipping young Africans with practical skills in policy advocacy, project management, and climate negotiations. Participants gain a deep understanding of UNFCCC processes, policy frameworks, and sustainable project development to amplify their climate action impact.

Reach Out & school partnerships

We partner with various schools and organisations to provide trainings and collaboration on providing the youth with relevant information to take care of the environment and build a better world. Raising awareness about climate change and its impact is crucial.
