Objectives
- Advocate for policy and legislative changes that address the root causes of climate change, and promote sustainable development and environmental protection in Africa.
- Conduct research and provide education and outreach to increase public awareness and understanding of climate change and its impacts on African communities.
- Collaborate with communities, civil society organizations, and governments to support the development and implementation of locally-driven climate adaptation and mitigation strategies.
- Promote social justice and equity in climate action by ensuring that the voices and needs of vulnerable and marginalized communities are represented in decision-making processes.
- Foster partnerships and networks among stakeholders, including academia, industry, and civil society, to develop innovative solutions for sustainable development and climate resilience in Africa.
